Pénélope Leprévost rode a pony for the first time at the age of 3, and at 6 she was already competing in her first French championships. After turning professional in 2000, she won various titles as the National Champion Female Rider. From 2008, Jubilée d'Ouilly (Palestro II) and Mylord Carthago (Carthago Z) have enabled the French rider to take part in the top international competitions and to join the World Top 10. In 2010, she won the silver medal at the Lexington World Championships for France. She won a second team silver medal at the 2014 World Championships in Caen in front of her home audience with the fabulous Flora de Mariposa. It was also with this exceptional mare, a daughter of For Pleasure, that Penelope Leprévost became Team Olympic Champion in 2016 in Rio.
She secured a World Cup podium position in Las Vegas in 2015 with the stallion Vagabond de la Pomme (Vigo D Arsouilles Stx), not to mention a medal at the European Championships in 2011 with Mylord Carthago, a stallion who has left his mark on both high-level sport and breeding. Based in Normandy, Penelope Leprévost has been one of the best female riders in the world for the past decade.
Pénélope Leprévost is the mother of Eden Leprévost-Blinlebreton, who is already regularly distinguishing herself on the international circuit.
