The winners of the weekend.
Scott Brash wins the 4th European stage of the World Cup held in Verona. The Scotsman was on M'Lady (by Indoctro out of Gwindeline). He was ahead of Darragh Kenny on Romeo (by Contact vd Heffinck out of Champion of Picobello) and Steve Guerdat on Alamo (Ukato). The World No.1 now takes the lead in the provisional ranking for the World Cup.
It was a Dutch quadruple in Maastricht with victory for Frank Schuttert on Queensland E (Quickfire de Feran), ahead of Leopold van Asten on VDL Groep Miss Untouchable (Chacco Blue) and Maikel van der Vleuten on Beauville (Bustique).
The top two U25s were in the spotlight in Toronto. Bertram Allen won the Canadian World Cup stage on GK Casper (Canto), and Jos Verlooy was second on Igor (Emerald van't Ruytershof). Brian Moggre completed the podium with Vivre le Rêve (Ustinov).
Paloma Jimenez of Spain won in Vilamoura with Sherie Star (Diamant de Sémilly) ahead of Jérôme Hurel of France on Icarus V'T Klavertje Vier (Bentley vd Heffinck) and the Australian rider Jake Hunter on Cleopatra (Quick Star).
