Veronese Teamjoy joins Constant van Paesschen
Stationed in the Tops’ stable for several seasons after being trained by Marc Dilasser, the Selle Français mare, Veronese Teamjoy (Toulon x Dollar de la Pierre) had been ridden by Edwina Tops-Alexander and Alberto Zorzi for the last few years and regular competed in the Global Champion's League, securing many top placings.
“I'm very happy to be able to count on this new mare. In the last few weeks, there has been a lot of movement in my stables, but it’s not everyday that horses like Veronese arrive at the stables. I would really like to thank all the people that have made this possible. In my career, I’ve trained more young horses than horses that have a lot of experience like her. Nevertheless, this doesn’t put any extra pressure on me... simply because I’m lucky enough to have a team of owners around me who believe in me, as well as my parents and who don’t put any pressure on me! I hope that Veronese will be able to help Verdi Treize, who remains as my top horse... but who knows? With horses it's always difficult to predict anything! Who could have said how Isidoor vd Helle would raise the stable’s profile by jumping double clear rounds in four-star Grand Prix events, as he did again a few weeks ago in St-Tropez, after winning a three-star Grand Prix in Oliva at the beginning of March,” says Constant van Paesschen with great serenity and humility.
