Unpulsion de la Hart retires
Via social media, Alexandra Amar announced that Unpulsion de la Hart (Kashmir Van Schuttershof) would be retiring from sport at the age of 17. He has already returned to his meadows in Normandy, at the Haras du Val Henry which belongs to the Swiss rider’s family. In the words of his rider: "Unpulsion is a very special horse for me, he has always had a human character; he was the one who decided! He helped me to fly in the young riders and taught me everything at this level. Unpi is a horse with a huge heart. I was very lucky that he gave so much to me after everything he did with Philippe! There was true alchemy between us and he was brilliant. I can only thank him for everything he gave me. It was such good fortune that I crossed his path, he will always have a special place in my heart!"
Born at the élevage de la Hart in Belgium, Unpulsion de la Hart was trained alongside Nicolas Duhamel, Stephanie Dumartin and Olivier Desutter in France. This Belgian sport horse then joined the ranks of the French rider, Philippe Rozier, with whom he shone at the highest level. The pair took second place in the 4* Grand Prix of Vilamoura, participated in many CSIO5* such as Rome, Aachen or La Baule with several rankings. There was a change of saddle in 2018 for the gelding. He began performing under Swiss colors with the young Alexandra Amar, and he helped her climb the ladder of success. They notably won second place in the CSIO Young Riders Grand Prix in Opglabbeek in 2019 and participated in the CSI U25 at the CHI Geneva - an important moment in the sporting career of the young woman about which she spoke to us in her video "Rising Star".
