14 November 2018

Sad news, British showjumper Tim Stockdale passed away today, aged 54, surrounded by his family at Northampton Hospital, following a stomach cancer diagnosed last October.

He represented his country at the Beijing Olympics with Corlato, whom he had also taken to the European Championships in Windsor after having already taken part, a few years earlier, in the Jerez World Championships under Parcival's saddle.

Winner of the Nations Cup in Rome and the Grand Prix of Nantes in 2007 and 2008 with Corlato, Tim Stockdale also won the World Cup stage in Bordeaux in 2007, as well as the CSIO Grand Prix in Hickstead in 2010 but this time with Kalisco Bay.

Recently, he also trained Fleur de l'Aube, now under the saddle of Jessica Springsteen.
