Thierry Rozier loses his Star

05 October 2020

Thierry Rozier's longtime partner is making a new start, Star (Singulord Jot) will now be ridden by Japanese rider Mike Kawai. "She is one of the horses that will have marked my sporting career. She knew so well how to support Venezia (editor's note: d'Ecaussinnes - Kashmir Van Schuttershof)during these years! I wish as much success to her new owner", wrote Thierry Rozier on his social networks. The bay mare has now joined Jan Tops' facilities in Valkenswaard to write a new chapter with his new rider. Mike Kawai continues to equip himself with some good international mounts as he also rides Tokyo du Soleil (Montender), As de Mai (Apache d’Adriers) and Celvin (Raphael).

Together since 2016, Thierry Rozier and Star have ridden in the most beautiful arenas in Europe, winning an event in the Sopot and La Baule CSIO5* events, as well as the Fontainebleau and Longines Masters of Paris CSI2* Grand Prix last year. Their last victory to date dates back to this summer in the Grimaud CSI5* event.
