Take A Chance On Me Z is leaving Christian Ahlmann
Christian Ahlmann has now seen a hole open up in his string of horses with the departure of one of his top assets, Take A Chance On Me Z (Taloubet Z). The 12-year-old Zangersheide stallion is joining the stables of Dutch rider Suus Kuyten. "We’re very happy with this new purchase! I can't wait to ride this incredible stallion," said the young woman, who is a member of the Hamburg Giants on the Global Champions League circuit, on her social media.
Born at Judy-Ann Melchior’s and out of her first high-level mare, Abba Z, the stallion learned his trade with Ken Ruysen and Mike Van Olst, while taking part in the 5-, 6- and 7-year-old World Championships with Christian Ahlmann. One of their first performances was in the 6YO final where the duo won bronze. They also won the CSI5* Grand Prix in Paris in 2019.
