Rhinopneumonitis: the organizers take their responsibilities seriously!
While the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has once again been slow to take clear and uniform measures, some organizers are taking their responsibilities seriously. Oliva has canceled the MET 3 event that was scheduled to take place from March 9 to 28. In Belgium, Sentower Park has canceled its events for the next 14 days, including the CSI that was scheduled to take place next week. Thierry Goffinet has also set an example by canceling the training sessions that were planned to take place at the Haras de Bornival.
Unfortunately, the FEI has not yet reacted, even though one would expect a clear message from a federation. The horses’ health should supersede any financial considerations; let's hope that everyone is aware of this.
