The Nijhof family invests in Commil Champ Z
Having been acquired by Zangersheide in Vechta for 140,000 Euros at auction, Commil Champ Z (Comilfo Plus Z x Clinton) is now co-owned in conjunction with team Nijhof, which has just acquired the other half of him. At the auction, the Dutch stallion station also bid on the gray, and finally offered Judy-Ann Melchior a collaboration that was born out today with the acquisition of half of this promising 3-year-old, who will remain in Lanaken this year, but whose semen can be ordered from each of its co-owners.
Among its new stallion listings for this season, Zangersheide will also be able to count on the Nieberg family's former star Contagio (Colman x Lordanos), who is retiring from sport in Belgium to devote himself to breeding. As the winner of the 2017 Frankfurt Grand Prix, the 17-year-old Holsteiner had, until then, mainly devoted himself to sport and doesn’t have a large amount of offspring, although he can already count on several progeny at the top level with Con Taggio (Beezie Madden), Catch Me Imperio Egipcio (Francisco José Mesquita Musa), Cessna 24 (Georgina Bloomberg), Best Boy 2 (Henrik Von Eckermann/Victoria Gulliksen), Contagious (Mclain Ward), and Coby 8, who was very successful at the beginning of the year with Philipp Weishaupt.
