Jan Tops buys Bacardi VDL

14 February 2019

World runner-up among seven-year-olds under Jos Lansink, Bacardi then joined Janika Sprunger, who took a little time to put him to use because of an injury that kept her away from the competition grounds for a while. Finally, however, he broke out at the highest level, initially in Tryon before winning his first five-star Grand Prix early 2019 in Dubai. At the same time, Sprunger moved up to third place in the Sharjah World Cup stage.

Today, the Dutch merchant Jan Tops bought the KWPN stallion, as he had done previously with the Swiss rider’s other star Palloubet d'Hallong. It is still too early, however, to have an opinion concerning who will ride him in the future.
