Iphigenia de Muze flies off to the USA.
With two placings in Paris, including a 7th place in the big event on Friday, Grégory Wathelet and Iphigenia de Muze (Erco van't Roosakker x For Pleasure x Darco) ended their collaboration on a positive note. She showed great promise for the stables, but the bay has unfortunately been excluded from the competition grounds recently, even though the pair continued to notch up great performances, namely with a victory last year at the Longines Masters of New York. Finally, the mare will pursue her career with the young American rider, Stella Wasserman; the Pennsylvania Junior Hunter Champion. She recently decided to focus on show jumping next year... and now she’s equipped for it!
Iphigenia has impressive genetics: she’s a maternal sister to the stallion Inshallah de Muze, and also Heroine de Muze, Incroyable de Muze and many other international performers. Their dam, the late Excellentia de Muze is a daughter of the former winner Narcotique II de Muze, who was also dam to the stallion Querlybet Hero, Boyante de Muze and many others.
