Intermède A Bord has passed away and Pumkins Pondi retires

26 November 2020

The pony stallion Intermède A Bord (Bolino Ravignan) knew his best of times under the saddle of Camille Jussiaux. Born from an astonishing cross between a Welsh B and an Anglo-Arab mare, he won the coveted title of French As Poney Excellence Champion in 2007 with his 18-year-old rider. He was then passed on to Camille’s little brother Thomas. Finally, under the saddle of his four riders, he had eighteen Grand Prix victories on the French circuit, both Excellent and Elite. Intermède demonstrated incredible longevity, as Pony-as pointed out.

Pumkins Pondi (Appolon Pondi), the pony stallion who started his international career under the saddle of Camille Conde Ferreira, has brought his sporting career to an end. He will now be remaining at the Irish stables of the Folley family, which he joined in 2017, in order to devote himself to his breeding career.
