The French 4-year-olds champions 2020
For the first time and for the rest of the weekend, the finals will be taking place on the small wooden floor with its recent sand track.
Galaa la Marsa (Qlassic Bois Margot x Le Tot de Sémilly) won in the 4 year old mares under Edouard Fiocre’s saddle, ahead of the spectacular Girl Power DK (By Cera d'Ick x Cash), maternal half-sister to the performing stallion A Big Boy, ridden by Elliot Souster. Galactée du Tivoli (Vagabond de la Pomme x Mozart des Hayettes) took 3rd place.
In the young stallions, the title went to Gino des Luthiers (Giovanni de la Pomme x Quaprice Bois Margot), out of the performer Galant de Sémilly’s line, under Aurélien Georges Picot’s saddle, ahead of the approved stallion Ginko du Rouet (Vagabond de la Pomme x Ogano Sitte) whose dam is a sister to the performers Ircos and Usador du Rouet, and whose granddam is none other than Baloubet du Rouet's full sister. The latter was ridden under the saddle of Gautier Pistiaux while Marina Gibert Raya takes the bronze with Grabuge (Quick Star x Le Tot de Sémilly), who is none other than the brother to Patrice Delaveau's star, Orient Express.
In the very special and typically French category of studbooks other than the Selle Français, it was the Holsteiner Celtic du Lys (Casall x Diamant de Sémilly) who won under the saddle of Pierre Gautherat, ahead of sBs Karajan Sitte (Cornet Obolensky x Calvaro), whose dam is a maternal half-sister to Ogano and Ugano Sitte, while Antoine Helie took 3rd place on Maybe Brimbelles Z (Montender x Bon Ami).
