Zangersheide has acquired the runner-up of the Oldenburg selection for 140,000 Euros. Commil Champ Z is the son of the Zangersheide stallion Comilfo Plus Z, and is out of a Clinton x Cassini dam.

"For us, Commil Champ Z was undoubtedly the best stallion of the Oldenburg stallion selection this year. The fact that he is the son of one of our favorite stallions, Comilfo Plus Z, is a plus and gives us even more confidence," said Judy Ann Melchior in a press release.

In Westphalia, the bids went up to 250,000 Euros for a son of Cornet Obolensky, who is out of Meredith Michaels’ former star mount, Beerbaum Bella Donna (Baldini). He will stay in Germany, having been acquired by Gestüt Bonhomme, from the Qatari’s. The other sales star among the approved stallions was a son of Arezzo VDL who sold for 210,000 Euros to Austria. The BWP Sequinto vd Holvenhoeve, is the first son of Nixon van't Meulenhof to be approved in Germany, and is out of a dam by Cumthago C, selling for 85,000 Euros.
