Born at the Haras de Hus, Cambridge de Hus (Conrad x Unistar), out of a maternal half-sister to Hickstead, had until then known a career almost similar to that of Quel Homme de Hus, ridden by Gilles Botton, then Gaetan Decroix before joining Jérôme Guéry. However, the comparison ends there; after their first victory in the Bonheiden 2* Grand Prix and third place in the big event the day before, the 8-year-old bay will now leave the Brabant rider who owned him, to go to the Netherlands where he will now ride under the saddle of Australian rider Edwina Tops-Alexander.
