During the recent BWP stallion selection, Joris de Brabander acquired Bluff Ter Doorn Z (Bamako de Muze x For Pleasure x Quidam de Revel). Ridden by Jeroen De Winter during the selection for Brits’ Stables and Stal Meulenhof, the horse was quickly spotted by the Antwerp breeder. He is a son of Stal de Muze’s home stallion, and his dam For Fun Ter Doorn was a finalist at the 7-year-old World Championships in Lanaken. She has also produced the international performer Ivory Ter Doorn and the approved stallions Kentucky Ter Doorn (Corland) and Bombay Ter Doorn Z (By Ceira d'Ick). It’s a maternal line that has proven itself well, as it’s also the line of Galipolli Ter Doorn, Ellechin Ter Doorn and Dijon Terdoorn who is performing at the highest level with Beat Mändli and has notably placed in some big events in Wellington these past few weeks.

In collaboration, the Stal de Muze and Ibreed Agency have decided to station the stallion in Normandy, at Edwige and Jonathan Lenoir’s Ecurie d'Outremer.

During this stallion selection, Joris de Brabander returned with three new stallions including a certain Cavalier Russe Z (Casall x Nabab de Rêve), who is none other than the son of Jos Lansink's former star: Valentina van't Heike, who is also the dam of Epleaser van't Heike. He also brought home Valentino Boy (Vivant vd Heffinck x Carvallo), who is a son of Philippe Le Jeune and Pius Schwizer’s star, Carlina IV, and also out of Corrado the line. The newcomer is Special Star De Corlato (Big Star x I'm Special de Muze), whose granddam is the former international star, Fresh Direct Corlato. For a few years, Joris de Brabander has wished to return with new bloodlines... This has been confirmed today.
