Beligneux Le Haras acquires Cooper vd Heffinck.
Less than a year after his arrival at Beligneux Le Haras, the Neyrat family has acquired the Holsteiner stallion Cooper vd Heffinck (Caretino x Landgraf I). Freshly approved by the Selle Français studbook, having been admitted to the BWP studbook at the age of three, and then to Swedish and Oldenburg Warmblood studbooks, the handsome bay can count on a line-up which already stands out despite their young age, including his sons Igor vd Wittemoere (Cooper vd Heffink) (winner of the 2019 Saint-Lô Grand Prix), Hello Jefferson (Cooper vd Heffink) (formerly Jerenmias van het Hulstenhof; 5th in the Grand Prix World Cup of London-Olympia in 2019) and Kriskras DV (Cooper vd Heffink) (5th of the 2019 Rome GCT).
"Since he arrived at the stud, we've been able to observe his excellent fertility. It's difficult to find horses capable of producing five-star horses, so we wanted to ensure his presence in France because breeders must have stallions that both improve the breed and that are fertile. He is bred on the same cross as Casall, coming from a very good maternal line that has produced 5* winners for 4 generations including QUINAULT (Quasimodo) who was 4th in the CSI4*-W 2009 - Helsinki Grand Prix, QUAPRICE BOIS MARGOT (Quidam de Revel) - 10th in the CSIO5* 2008 - Grand Prix of La Baule, OPERETTE LA SILLA (Calletto II) 1st in the CSI-W 1997 - Grand Prix of Bordeaux... He’s a well-built horse, lively and refreshing, elegant and modern." explained Sébastien Neyrat.
