Sanctos vh Gravenhof retires.

30 November 2019

The Belgian sporthorse, Sanctos vh Gravenhof (Quasimodo vd Molendreef x Nabab de Rêve) is one of the legends of the sport. He was the first horse to exceed one million Euros in prize money in one year and this was mostly achieved by being the first, and the only one to date, to have won three consecutive stages of the Rolex Grand Slam: Geneva, Aachen and Calgary. Prior to that, Scott Brash and Hello Sanctos had also been part of the British Olympic Champion team in London in 2012 and gold medalists at the European Championships in Herning the following year.

In the last few years, the powerful bay has made several returns to the competition arena but without getting back to the level of his prior achievements. Now, the star will be able to enjoy a nice retirement in the field at his rider’s place.
