Qualido 3 leaves Grégory Wathelet

Qualido 3 and Bresil de Riverland join Gregory Wathelet’s former mount, Conrad de Hus, at Double H Farm, and will be ridden by Quentin Judge.

"Qualido 3 had been entrusted to me to sell by his owner. We had some good results with him very early on because he showed himself to be a very reliable second horse, able to jump big events by consistently placing well. Qualido is a very useful horse to have in a string, but in life, you have to be true to the people around you. The priority was to sell him and that contract is now fulfilled.

I have a good relationship with Quentin Judge. He regularly updates me with news of Conrad, and he’d asked me to find him horses a few times. He came to try our stallion Bresil de Riverland who fit him perfectly... and I also said that when he came, I’d let him try Qualido, who he also liked very much. As always, it's part of the job and it's nice when it's done well and everyone is satisfied," said Gregory Wathelet.

Qualido 3 (Quicksilber x Calido) came from Timothée Anciaume’s yard and settled in well with the Belgian rider and they very quickly achieved great results together. Their last joint outing was their victory in the CSI***** in Shanghai in early May. Part of the Global Tour circuit where the 11-year-old gelding was particularly prominent, with several victories and numerous placings.

A little lesser known, Bresil de Riverland (Canturano x Quidam de Revel) is an approved 8-year-old stallion, brother of the late Quento Sange, whose granddam is none other than Javotte D, the founder of the whole "du Chateau" lineage including Itot, Etoile, Manuela and many others.

The stallion Bresil de Riverland (Canturano x Quidam de Revel), is from the famous ‘du Chateau’ line.
