Lacrimoso is retiring.
Haras des Coudrettes distributed photos of their former international performers, officially announcing Lacrimoso’s (Lanjunge) retirement. At 15 years old, the bay excelled at the highest level of show jumping under the saddle of Katharina Offel, before joining Patrice Delaveau on the HDC team. Together, the pair have built up a well-stocked list of successes, notably participating in the incredible first edition of the Longines Masters of Hong Kong, where the Norman rider won everything in his path, before also winning the Paris stage in 2015. They also took the victory in the Grand Prix**** in Amsterdam and the Leipzig World Cup stage, as well as second place in the Top 10 final.
Now the bay has found a new field mate, Kevin Staut's old star, Rêveur de Hurtebise (Kashmir Van Schuttershof).
He’s not the only one to have retired near Deauville discreetly, as his former truck mate, Léontine Ledimar Z (Lovefever) has also settled into the field with the stud's grand dame, Silvana (Corland). Winner in the Grand Prix**** of Rouen, the chestnut distinguished herself as a very fast mare on the international circuit, with 8 victories and many runner-up placings with Patrice Delaveau. Like Kevin Staut's star, Leontine is expecting a foal from one of the stud's promising young guns, the stallion Be Express (Orient Express x Kannan, from the Bourée line).
