Fein Cera has passed away

21 March 2019

Daughter of the star mare Cera 1 (aka Bella Hopp), Fein Cera (Landadel x Cor de la Bryère) also competed to the highest level under the saddle of Peter Wylde. Olympic team champion in Athens, individual bronze medalist at the Jerez de la Frontera World Championships, winner of the Brussels Masters in 2004, Fein Cera was one of the best horses of her generation.

The Holsteiner mare has also distinguished herself as a broodmare, leaving behind five offspring, including Feinest (Ustinov) who competes at 1m40, the stallion By Cera d'Ick (Stakkkato) who is exclusively dedicated to breeding, and Kleine Cera (Calato) who is herself Ornellaia's mother (For Pleasure), who is now being ridden at the highest level by Peter Moloney (who just won the Sunshine Tour Grand Prix****) after having been ridden by John Whitaker and François Mathy Jr. as well as Enkelin Zera (Cero) who also competed at the highest level.
